Ticklio keeps moving, and this month’s update is one of the broadest yet. The integrated Ticklio shop grows into a real sales channel, the gate gets more control, the point of sale gets faster, and marketing campaigns become more precise. Here’s what’s new for clubs, organizers, and their fans.
Tickets, merch, and everything in between. One platform.
The Right Offer at the Right Moment
The headline feature is offers, the kind of well-timed suggestion every good online store makes. An organizer can attach an offer to a product, an event, or a season ticket, and buyers see it in their order summary the moment the matching item is in their cart. One click, and it’s added.
Picture a fan buying a matchday ticket and being offered the club scarf for €9.90 instead of €17.90, right before they pay. Offers can chain into one another, be limited to a number of uses or a time window, or be marked as required, so the buyer answers before completing the purchase.
Offers work for tickets too. A club can give a percentage discount on an extra match ticket or season ticket, and where possible Ticklio places the new seat right next to the seats the buyer already has. Eligibility is always checked on the server, so an offer can’t be used where it shouldn’t, or twice.
Your Name, Your Number
Shop products can now be personalized. The organizer decides what the buyer enters, a name, a jersey number, or any other text, sets the label in every language they sell in, and limits the characters. A jersey number can be capped at two digits and accept numbers only.
On the product page, the buyer ticks “Add personalization”, with the surcharge shown right there, and a live print preview shows exactly how the name and number will sit on the shirt, updating with every letter typed. The personalization follows the item through the cart, checkout, confirmation email, and the order in the admin, and the surcharge is counted correctly in the total, the tax calculation, and the invoice.
A Shop That Feels Like a Real Store
Around the big features, the shop got a full round of polish:
-
- Real sale prices, with the old price crossed out and the discount percentage shown across the shop, cart, and invoice
- Colour swatches on the product card that instantly update the name, price, image, and available sizes
- Product info blocks for delivery, returns, sizing, or care, shown as a tidy accordion
- Shipping zones for groups of countries, each with its own price and a free-delivery threshold, plus a note showing how much more a buyer needs to add for free shipping
The product grid is cleaner too, two cards per row on phones and up to four on larger screens, with badges for personalizable and sold-out items and a scrollable category filter. And because shipping is now calculated from one central rule, the price shown at checkout is always the price charged.
More Control at the Gate
Check-in got some of the most practical upgrades in this release. Organizers can now stop check-in for individual tickets, one at a time or several at once, without reissuing anything, since the QR code stays the same. The scanner clearly shows the ticket as stopped, every change is logged with a reason and the user who made it, and check-in can be re-enabled with one click. Refunded tickets are now rejected automatically at the gate, with the reason shown on screen.
For events that are part of a season ticket, the counters now show season ticket holders separately from single-match buyers, so a club can see exactly how many of its regulars have arrived. Staff on devices with several cameras can pick or flip the camera right under the scanner, and the choice is remembered next time. A full check-in guide is now available in Settings, covering everything from choosing the gate to what each rejection means.
A Faster, Clearer Point of Sale
The seating plan now zooms proportionally, so going from the whole venue to a single seat takes far fewer scrolls, and zooming back returns you exactly where you were. The price selection window always opens within view, even on small screens, and panning around large floor plans is noticeably smoother, both at the till and online.
Setting up a new ticket design is easier too. A new Test print option prints tickets from the current cart exactly as a real sale would, seats and prices included, but without creating an order or an invoice. Test tickets are clearly marked and rejected at the gate. And if seats can’t be sold because a price is missing, Ticklio now tells you which price rules are unpriced and how many seats they affect, instead of leaving staff to click seat after seat to find out why.
Sharper Marketing Campaigns
Campaigns can now target several segments at once. Anyone who appears in more than one segment is merged, so they receive the message only once, and the audience step shows exactly how many duplicates were combined. Before sending, organizers can see every recipient and exclude individuals from a specific campaign without removing them from their segments.
Campaigns are now sent through each organizer’s own mail settings, with their name as the sender, so a message from the club truly comes from the club. Attendance confirmations also get their own audience page, building on the fan communication tools we introduced recently.
Smarter Event Management
Organizers planning a full season can now import events from a CSV file, one event per row, in Slovenian or English column names. Ticklio checks the entire file first, points to the exact line if anything is wrong, and creates the events as drafts ready for review. A sample file tailored to each organizer is included.
Organizers can also choose which price appears on the event card, attach files like a seating map, parking permit, or voucher to a price category so they arrive automatically with the confirmation email, and see changes to their event pages go live immediately. Automatically filled event sections now keep every custom title, badge, image, and price the organizer has set.
Payments You Can Trust
Some of the most important work is the kind buyers never notice. If the cart changes during a card payment, the amount is recalculated from the actual items, so the cart and the amount charged can never drift apart. Once a payment succeeds, the cart is locked, and any mismatch is flagged for review instead of completing automatically. When a buyer changes their seat or personalization, the PDF ticket and Apple and Google Wallet passes are regenerated, while the QR code stays the same.
Always Moving Forward
This update turns the Ticklio shop into a proper sales channel, gives clubs more control at the gate, and makes everyday work at the till and in marketing faster and more precise. Together with the matchday upgrades we shipped earlier, it’s another step toward one platform that covers everything a club sells and every way it connects with its fans.
More to sell, more control, release after release.
