Ticklio was born on matchdays, but more and more of our work happens at conferences, forums, and business events. When we ran the full operation at the Adria Football Forum in Belgrade, we saw first-hand what organizers of these events really need: not just a ticket, but a way to welcome every guest personally and help them meet the right people. This release turns that experience into a complete set of conference tools, built right into the platform.
From the first ticket to the right handshake, one platform runs the whole event.
Matchmaking: Helping the Right People Meet
At a conference, the conversations are often worth more than the talks. That’s why Ticklio now includes matchmaking, a networking tool that connects attendees based on what they offer and what they’re looking for. It was piloted at the Adria Football Forum, and it’s now available to every organizer.
The organizer switches it on for an event and sets the rules: which ticket types can take part, when matchmaking is open, how long meetings last, when they can be booked, and whether they take place at numbered tables or one shared location. Attendees then choose their interests from groups like topics, “I offer”, and “I am looking for”.
With one click, every ticket holder receives a personal, password-free link. Guests who bought at the door without an email can join with the code on their ticket. A short setup wizard builds their profile, and from there Ticklio does the work:
-
- Attendees are ranked by match, with a short explanation of why each person is a good fit
- Shared availability is shown on every profile, so finding a time takes seconds
- A slot is booked only when a request is accepted, and a table is assigned automatically to both sides
- Contact details stay private until a meeting is confirmed, and only if both people agree to share them
The event programme, with talks, panels, and speakers, and the partners and sponsors by tier, sit right alongside it. Attendees can even request a meeting with a speaker or a sponsor representative directly from the programme. For the organizer, a clear overview shows every participant and meeting, ready to export into a spreadsheet with times, tables, and both sides of each meeting.
An Accreditation Desk That Keeps the Queue Moving
The registration desk is where a conference makes its first impression. Ticklio’s new Accreditation screen is built for exactly that moment. Staff can find a guest by name, organization, buyer, order number, or ticket code, or simply scan the ticket with a barcode reader or camera.
Checking a guest in prints their badge in the same step. The arrival is recorded just like a scan at the gate, so it shows up in the event’s statistics, and a lost badge can be reprinted in seconds. Refunded tickets, tickets with check-in stopped, or tickets for a different event are rejected and logged. Live counters show how many guests are expected, checked in, and registered at the desk, counting every person only once.
Walk-ins are covered too. With New attendee, staff can register a guest on the spot, choose a ticket category, and print their badge immediately or save it for later. The details of every single ticket, from payment and buyer to check-in history and printed badges, are now one click away.
Scan at the Door, Print at the Desk
For bigger events, Ticklio adds an accreditation scanner and print queue. Staff at the entrance scan guests with a phone, and within seconds the badge appears for printing on the computer at the registration desk. Badges open one at a time, even when several guests arrive together, and both the scanner and the desk show where each badge is: waiting, at the printer, printed, or failed.
The queue can be paused, for example while changing a printer ribbon, and with several desks running at once, no badge is ever printed twice.
Badges Designed Your Way
The Ticket Designer now includes a dedicated Badge design type and a ready-made Conference badge template. Dimensions are set in millimetres, so the canvas matches the real badge, and printing works through the browser, with no special printer setup needed.
New attendee fields bring each guest’s name, organization, and job title onto the badge automatically, taken from the ticket personalization or the buyer’s details. The QR code on each badge carries the ticket itself, so it can be scanned at the entrance to individual sessions too. And with attendee import and export, in Slovenian or English column names, organizers can bring in a guest list from a spreadsheet or take one out, arrival times included.
More for Every Event
This release also brings two practical additions for clubs and organizers everywhere:
-
- Seats reserved for a single channel, a seat can now be locked for online sales while the box office can still sell it, or the other way around, clearly marked in its own colour on the seating plan
- Wallet links on printed tickets, A4 tickets can now include clickable Add to Apple Wallet and Add to Google Wallet badges, so a printed or PDF ticket moves to a phone in one tap, with no login needed
Always Moving Forward
From a Prva liga matchday to an international forum, Ticklio keeps adapting to the event, not the other way around. Matchmaking, accreditation, badge printing, and a registration desk that keeps the queue moving turn the platform into a complete partner for conferences and business events, and another step in the growing Ticklio ecosystem.
Every guest welcomed. Every meeting made. One platform.
