On 7 October, Ticklio was proud to be part of Ekonomija pod žarometi 2026, an established business event held for the third year running at Odiseja in Ljubljana. This year’s edition put persistence in the spotlight: how to stay focused, adapt to change, and keep going even when times are uncertain.

Business, Sport, and Persistence on One Stage

The event brought together the economy, sport, technology, leadership, and society. Through short, focused 15-minute talks, a lineup of respected speakers shared their experience, knowledge, and perspectives on the challenges shaping today’s business world.

Among the most prominent guests was Peter Prevc, Olympic champion and one of the most successful ski jumpers of his generation. He spoke about persistence, pressure, and the obstacles on the road to success, offering a sharp look at what the business world can learn from the mindset of elite sport.

What made the event especially meaningful was its charitable side. All proceeds from ticket sales went to the Botrstvo v Sloveniji sponsorship program, which supports children and families in need. We’re glad that our part of the evening helped make that possible.

Where Ticklio Came In

Ticklio played a clear and visible role in how guests experienced the event, starting well before they arrived. Based on the attendee list provided by the organizers, we created a personalized QR code for every guest, carrying their name, and sent it directly to them by email.

On arrival, guests simply showed their code, the organizers scanned it, and their attendance was recorded in seconds. No printed lists, no searching for names at the entrance, no queues at the door. Just a fast, personal welcome and a smooth start to the evening.
